El Valle Lodge in Playa El Valley is a sustainable resort that brings together the creativity of stylist Calvy Click and photographer Sam Gold to create a Resort '22 project that focuses on the culture of DR from the Dominican Republic.

Calvy Click creates a scene based on sustainable development and a carefree mentality, dressing Martinez as a well-designed and casual wardrobe. Reflecting the vitality of the streets of DR, Martinez poses in a color suitable for strolling along the waterfront. Filmed by Sam Gold, each frame tells the connection between Martinez and the island she calls home.

From the Latino Tradition Month, a celebration of Latino culture across the crossroads, this project highlights Martinez's relationship with her culture and the influence that has influenced her craftsmanship. Often, dialogue around Latin culture minimizes a large number of identities, thereby further marginalizing the community. Martinez was very proud of his origin and continued to occupy space abroad, taking away the debris from the island. What is your connection with the Dominican Republic?

In addition to the fact that it is my country of origin, it should be noted that it is one of the warmest islands in the Caribbean.

How would you describe your mentality in the Caribbean?

This is the best way to feel, and there is nothing better than at home.

Fashion is beginning to adopt sustainable practices and focus on ethical production. Can you talk about your personal relationship with sustainable development?

I really like buying unique items instead of buying new things crazy every day. I think this is something we need to avoid because most people have too many unused clothes and then have to throw them away. Shopping in second-hand stores or frugal is also something I like.

A very different experience, the super beautiful connection with nature has always been one of the most popular places in DR.

When do you feel most carefree?

This is one of my favorite things to stay at home when I am on the beach.

What is the misunderstanding of the Caribbean?

I believe in disrespecting the facts of other people’s ideas or differences.

Do you have any family advice to help you complete your work?

This is not a suggestion. I think this has always been the teaching of where we arrive. We must always remain true, always define our values ​​and ideals, and the most important thing is to love you, enjoy everything in the moment, and be yourself.

This seemingly unpopular California has a vibrant art scene that connects communities around the area, attracts international attention and forms a cultural beacon.

The Salton Sea is located about an hour’s drive south of Joshua Tree National Park and is adjacent to two enclaves for individuals seeking a disconnect from modern society, Bancheng and Mumbai Beach. Slab City, better known as The Slabs, is the opposite of the social structure as a haven for anti-government sentiments. This anarchic territory is called the "Last Place of Freedom" in the United States, inspiring resourceful art forms that maximize the use of materials from the region. Nomads, free thinkers, and hermit communities continue the region’s heritage centered on eclectic art, including the sacred monument Salvation Mountain created by Leonard Knight and the collection Sculptures made of metal and scrap at the Museum of Eastern Jesus Art. Various art forms such as graffiti, sculpture and storytelling connect Slab City to the shores of Mumbai Beach, a desolate town that is promoting restoration.

The charm of Mumbai Beach depends not only on the quirky sculptures and culture of the community, but also on the strangeness of the Salton Sea. "This is an oasis. The artist and filmmaker Tauruspoli succeeded in maintaining the charm of the ocean and stimulating the culture and economy of the scene. "French Express" brings us into a world full of crackling and smoky typewriters. In his tenth feature film, Wes Anderson (Wes Anderson) gushed about the nostalgia for journalism in the 20th century. This anthology film is set in a fictional French city, centered on the staff of a small magazine publication. They highlight 3 main stories from the past ten years.
